Studio 5 Partnership was retained by Temple Beth Rishon to design its new Educational Center, which is shared daily by the Preschool and Hebrew School programs.  This will in turn resolve the problem of inadequate space for adult or teen programming to serve the growing congregation.

Of the many proposed variations, the selected scheme incorporates an appropriate blend of both programmatic needs as well as acceptable budgets.  The 2-1/2 story, 26,500 square foot center provides 8 preschool classrooms designed in accordance with State Education Standards.  It will also include new offices, storage, media center, Teen Lounge, Teacher's Lounge and a Multi-Purpose room.  The proposed vertical scheme stayed within the existing curb.  None of the parking spaces or truck delivery access was eliminated.

The exterior facade was designed to blend with the remainder of the existing building but provides a strong identity to the new Center.
