Members of Studio 5 Partnership designed the 75,000 square foot metal fabricating and office facility.  The facility is above the ruins of a newspaper printing plant that was destroyed in a major fire, which leveled the original building.

The existing slab and foundation became part of the design and served as the foundation of the new building.  The new building, built of masonry construction and new steel sections is a beautiful example of careful planning, architecture and cooperation between the community, the developers and the entire design team.

In 1990 we were called upon to expand the building to its maximum permitted size to accommodate the company's expanded needs.  A 20,000 square foot addition was designed.  We obtained community approval and assisted during construction.  Modifications to the office mezzanine were made to reflect the changed requirements of the family-owned metal fabrication business.
