Working with the designers at the Port Authority, members of Studio 5 completed the design and construction documents for AirTrain Complex at Jamaica Station.

When completed, the project will include a 7 story terminal office building (known as the VCB - Vertical Circulation Building) of 300,000 square feet, connections to the AirTrain monorail to JFK within the VCB, as well as the renovated, fully enclosed passenger links to the adjacent LIRR station.

The monorail will allow passengers to check in to their respective flights at the VCB and arrive at JFK ready to board their flights - their luggage will have been checked in at Jamaica Station.
