The Mainardi Management Corporation has owned and operated the Radburn Shopping Center for many years. The center is usually fully rented with long term tenants and its location at the intersection of Plaza Road and Fair Lawn Avenue make it a popular magnet for the Radburn/ Fair Lawn community.

Mainardi Management elected to voluntarily undertake a major upgrade to the center and was able to attract Panera Bread to take the corner end cap location, improving the mix of tenants.

Turning to Studio 5, a new direction was proposed that replaced the earlier scheme described by the team as “dated” and “tired” looking. Accentual focus of the design was to break the static roof line, add design elements that reflected the historical Radburn Community and add pedestrian friendly elements. This included lighting, paving, landscaping, traffic control and an outdoor eating area.

Existing tenants were kept in business during construction by careful planning and coordination by Studio 5, Mainardi Management and all members of construction team.
